Kivells’ ever-growing collective property auctions continue to achieve strong results for all sizes, qualities, and types of land lots, indicating that land remains a trusted long-term investment in times of higher inflation.

2023 has so far seen in excess of 460 acres of land go under the auction hammer with Kivells, from parcels of amenity and pasture land, ranging from 0.71 acres to 50.66 acres, woodland, conservation land, orchards and development land, located across the length and breadth of Devon and Cornwall.

Kivells’ late summer auction, which will be taking place on Wednesday 13th of September, 7.00pm at Lifton Strawberry Fields, is set to further add to the firm’s success, with ten lots of land on offer, totalling 122.5 acres:

  • 1. A useful block of some 40 acres of pasture land located in Camelford, not far from the stunning north Cornish coast
  • 2. Approximately 28.36 acres of productive pasture land in St. Neot, Liskeard
  • 3. An excellent block of approximately 21.08 acres of productive pasture land in Woolsery, Bideford
  • 4. Approximately 12.67 acres of pasture land, including a useful three bay timber livestock building in Upton, Bude
  • 5. A plot extending to 0.67 of an acre in Bradworthy which has been granted full planning permission for a detached 2 bedroom single story dwelling
  • 6. Just under 12 acres of mainly level and gently sloping pasture including about 2.50 acres of native woodland in Yelverton
  • 7. Approximately 2.59 acres of gently sloping pasture land in a single enclosure located in Golant, Fowey
  • 8. Just under 3 acres of attractive mature broadleaf woodland and a stream in Marhamchurch, Bude
  • 9. Approximately 1.03 acres of level pasture land in a single enclosure, including a small range of dilapidated buildings in St. Austell
  • 10. Land extending to approximately 1.05 acres comprising an enclosure of gently sloping pasture land, further enclosure of amenity land and a Willow plantation in Nancledra, Penzance

Alongside these ten land opportunities will be a further four lots available including residential property, commercial premises, development opportunities and even a former Methodist Church, perfectly demonstrating the variety of property available through this method of sale with Kivells.

Kivells Director and Head of Property Auctions, Sam Turner commented ‘We are thrilled to have sold a total of £12,470,000 worth of land and property by this method of sale in 2023. With three auctions remaining this year, we are confident that our reputation of being the most successful property auctioneers in Devon and Cornwall will continue into 2024 and beyond!’
