It was a beautiful spring evening for Kivells’ third auction of the year, where 11 varied lots went under the hammer at Lifton Strawberry Fields, ranging from residential property, commercial premises, development opportunities and land resulting in sales in excess of £1.1 million. 

Land continues to be in strong demand, achieving fantastic results at auction. 6.07 acres of land at St Erney sold for £145,000 against a guide of £65,000, 3.95 acres at Holemoor, Bradford sold for £60,000 against a guide of £35,000 and 6.46 acres at Venncott, Newton St. Petrock saw the hammer fall at £80,000, £20,000 above its guide. 

The two lots of land at Fox Hole, Whitstone, also generated strong interest in the auction room, with 19.73 acres selling for £250,000 against a guide of £150,000 and 6.49 acres selling for £80,000 against a guide of £45,000. 

A generous plot of agricultural land at Trelights, Port Isaac, extending to circa 0.22 acres with excellent further potential to add value, sold for its guide of £50,000. 

Stockhouse Farm, a substantial four bedroom detached property in St. Neot, proved extremely popular following its launch to the market, achieving a hammer price of £315,000, £65,000 above its guide. The neighbouring double storey barn at Stockhouse sold for £155,000 against a guide of £150,000.
